What A Stud - y

The study to workshop conversion is just about complete.  The only things left are to paint the trim/door and add stairs to the garage side.  Tile was finished a couple of weekends ago, the framing and door went in this past weekend and during this week, Taz put up the door casing and added the floor moldings.  Stairs will probably be started on Friday and hopefully done by Sunday.

  1. Wow, very nice! Now you guys are going to have us thinking about customizations even more. We already had some in mind, but this makes the planning even more fun --Ericka

  3. Thanks and this was something we wanted from the time we picked the Rome after seeing the victoria falls model that already has this work shop section. I saw the study and knew I could make my entry and have my cake and eat it too. I am very much into customization. My cars have always had something done to them before they even have a first payment made on them. So it was only natural to start customizing a house too (why not). Sgt just need to show her why it is a good idea. --Taz

  5. I hadn't noticed the title of this post until now and I have to say that I really did lol. :) Any updates on your workroom progress? I don't think this is something we will plan to do in our Rome, but I love the idea and the progress so far.

  6. Looks like I'm not the only one ripping apart the finished house after closing to make changes (although mine wasn't by choice). The finished room looks great and seems like it will be really functional for you too.

  7. That looks great! Did you close off the entry from the great room to your husband's new workshop?
